Abe Lincoln Week was amazing!
We had a great time celebrating our favorite president. Students worked in two teams to bring in pennies to donate to The Salvation Army through our school's Penny War. We even needed more bins. Counting and rolling will happen the week after break and we will announce the total by the end of the week.
Vacation Travel Reminder
With the upcoming February and April breaks, JPS would like to remind families that if you travel to a state that does not border NYS, you will need to follow NYS Health Department guidelines for testing and quarantine. For more information, see https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory. If you don't have to travel, please avoid these quarantine requirements by staying home and following COVID protocols in order to help keep our schools safe.
If you are traveling, please call us at Lincoln School to inform us about your plans in advance because it could impact your child’s school attendance. We all need to work together to continue to keep our schools safe. Please contact your child’s school with any questions.
If your child will be absent from school for an extended period of time, we need your help! Please stop by our main office lobby to pick up the work your child can do while out of school. Teachers will prepare packets to help keep your child on pace with his or her classmates. Work will be labeled with your child's name on the table. We appreciate your support!
A great big shout out to Lincoln Families for connecting with teachers in many ways to discuss student progress! We appreciate the support and look forward to continuing our partnership to ensure our students are learning and growing.
