6th Grade EXPO Night
Please visit our 6th grade classrooms and hallways on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm for our 6th Grade EXPO night. Students have worked hard on their displays and would love for you to come and view thier projects. See you then!
NYS 8th Gr. Science Performance Exam
8th Graders will be taking their NYS Science Performance Exam on Wednesday and Thursday, May 22nd and 23rd. Please make sure they get a good night sleep the night before the exams and eat a good breakfast both mornings of the exams.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND - No School Friday, May 24th - Monday, May 27th. Students are to return to school on Tuesday, May 28th. Have a fun, safe weekend!
Persell Talent Show
Persell will be holding a Talent Show on Thursday, May 30th, at 7:00 pm in our school auditorium. There are approximately 15 acts that would love for you to come and support them. Students have worked hard practicing and are anxious to show off their talents!
7th/8th Grade NYS Science Written Exam -
All 7th and 8th graders will be taking the New York State Science Written Exam on Monday, June 3rd, at 9:00 am right after homeroom. Please make sure these students eat a good breakfast the morning of the exam and get a good nights sleep the night before the exam.
PERSELL LAWN SOCIAL - This years Persell Lawn Social will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, rain or shine. There will be games, food, and music for all to enjoy! Tickets for food and activities can be purchased at the event. All proceeds will benefit the Persell Music department. Hope to see you there to support our wonderful music program here at Persell!!
8TH GRADE DANCE
This years 8th Grade Dance will be held on Friday, June 7th, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, in the school cafeteria. Only Persell 8th graders are allowed to attend the dance. We hope to see all 8th graders in attendance for a funfilled evening to celebrate the end of their 8th grade year!

Dylan was selected as one of only 130 of the most musically talented high school students in the Eastern region of the United States.
JHS students, John Rosario & Gabriella Rosario, host the Youth Hispanic Radio Program on Saturdays from 8 to 9 p.m.
Finley and Kara competed against fourteen other students from eight high schools that offer JCC Public Speaking.
Tiffany & Gabriella, along with JHS teacher, Norma DeJoy, attended the event.
Students are working on project-based assignments with Namibia friends.
