ashington Middle School’s drama club will present The Addams Family Young@Parton Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium at 159 Buffalo Street.
Patrick Slagle has resigned from the Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education. Slagle has served on the board for almost 12 years and has served as the board’s vice president since 2017. Slagle’s resignation comes following his acceptance of a new position with the New York State Court System, which has a requirement that its members cannot serve on public boards.
Jamestown High School will present Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 16 at 2 and 7 p.m. in the Merton P. Corwin Auditorium of JHS, at 350 E. 2nd Street.
Lisa Stahlman Colby, reading teacher at Persell Middle School, will retire at the end of the 2022-23 school year.
