I began my teaching career in Carmel, Indiana in 1999 as a 6th grade ELA and math teacher. It was in the same year that I also began coaching cross-country and track & field. In 2008 I moved to Jamestown, NY and began teaching at Washington Middle School. After taking time off to raise my family, I enjoyed substitute teaching in grades K-12 before returning to the classroom full-time as a 4th grade teacher at Bush Elementary School. My educational goal is to encourage the academic and personal development of all learners by making education meaningful and FUN!

When I am not teaching or coaching, you can find me spending time with my family camping, backpacking, running, traveling, and cheering for our favorite teams: Notre Dame, the Dodgers, the Colts, the Lakers, and our Red Raiders!
