Frank Galeazzo

Frank Galeazzo, is seeking his first full term on the Board of Education. Mr. Galeazzo and his wife, Elizabeth, have been City of Jamestown residents for almost 17 years and have two children: Bradley, a junior at Jamestown High School, and Ashlyn, an 8th grader at George Washington Middle School. Mr. Galeazzo is a graduate of SUNY Alfred State and is currently the Information Services Manager at the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities.

Gina Sink

Gina Sink is seeking her first term on the Board of Education. She has over 12 years of teaching experience in both brick and mortar and cyber schools and is currently a behavior specialist at The Resource Center. Ms. Sink is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, holding bachelor’s degrees in psychology and elementary education and master’s degrees in church history and educational psychology.

Nina Karbacka

Nina Karbacka, is seeking her third term on the Board of Education. Mrs. Karbacka is a skilled educator with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music education from SUNY Fredonia and 40 years of teaching experience, at all grade levels, in the Jamestown Public Schools. She is on the advisory committee for NYS Association of Small City School Districts, which gives her the opportunity to represent the community to legislators, and the NYS Commissioner, to promote funding and awareness for Jamestown schools.

Krysta M. Rives

Krysta M. Rives, a Jamestown native, is seeking her first term on the Board of Education. After earning her General Equivalency Diploma in 2005, Ms. Rives attended JCC where she earned two associate degrees, one as an occupational therapy practitioner. She then pursued a bachelor’s degree in health management and a master’s degree in business administration. She is currently a doctoral candidate having completed all coursework in Capella University’s Doctor of Education program. Ms. Rives lives in Jamestown with her teenage son and works as a professor teaching in the fields of health sciences and business.
