ASA (After School Amigos) is a unique learning program created by Jamestown Community Learning Council and Jamestown Public Schools. The program is designed for ELL students and their families and focuses on developing English language and literacy skills.
“In ASA Club, I have learned to never give up when I want to accomplish something.”

ASA provides a learning environment where students can practice and enhance speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. A key part of the program is the home to school connection with home visitations offered by JCLC staff to encourage and support the relationship. Family nights provide parents with strategies to work with their child at home and at school in a fun engaging atmosphere. There is no cost to families or students to attend and a snack is provided for the students.
