Universal Prekindergarten Program

About Our Program

  • The JPS Universal Prekindergarten Program (UPK) includes preschool classes for 3-year-old and 4-year-old children. Classes are located at district elementary schools, community-based organizations, and at Head Start. Within our program, dedicated teachers work to ensure a safe learning environment that is developmentally appropriate for our students. Using the Creative Curriculum, learning is based around play, investigation, and 38 objectives to meet the needs of the whole child.
