Mr. Mallanda

I have been an art teacher for over 20 years. I have also coached lacrosse, soccer, and basketball at all levels. I work as a professional artist on commission, creating portraits and graphic designs for clients all across the country. My work has been purchased for businesses and included in over 200 private collections throughout the U.S. My work has also been featured in local and national newspapers and outlets including the Major League Lacrosse Charlotte Hounds and the ESPN sports network. I am a twice-published author of two coloring books and I produce many coloring pages, lessons, instructional videos, and materials for people of all ages.

I believe in providing students with a wide range of artistic experiences in order to grow their creativity and spark their imagination. My lessons follow the learning standards of New York State and are structured to include historical references, techniques, vocabulary, and creative options to ensure success for students. I believe that art should be seen and provide many opportunities for students to show their work in local, regional, state, and national venues.
