Learning through play is an essential part of Kindergarten. Students are learning a sense of self and others. Learning how to take turns and to wait for your turn is a social skill students will use throughout life. Counting and moving forward, counting money, recognizing colors and numbers and strategic skills are all explored during play. Playing board games with family members helps build confidence and decidsion making skills.
