    ELA SMART GOALS

    80% of students will be able to achieve a letter N Guided Reading level or grow at least 4 guided reading levels by June 1, 2019.

    • By Nov. 16, 2018 80% of students of students will grow at least 1 GR Levels
    • By January  18, 2019 80% of students will grow at least 2 GR Levels
    • By March 29, 2019 80% of students will will grow at least 3 GR Levels

    Action Steps:

    • Guided Reading at least 3 times a week
    • Dibels ORF
    • Building generated Skills Checklist of the Continuum

    Timed and Tracked:

    • Running record quick checks monthly
    • F and P assessment at the beginning middle and the end
    • High Frequency word assessment beginning middle and the end

    80% of students will be able to write at least 2 paragraphs by June 1, 2019

    • By January 18, 2018 80% of students will be able to write at least 1 paragraph
    • By June 1, 2019 80% of students will be able to write at least 2 paragraphs

    Action Steps:

    • Writing continuum to evaluate writing at the beginning, middle and end of the year

    Timed and Tracked:

    • Use team generated CFA predetermined time every 4-6 weeks with a PLC Data meeting to follow to adjust instruction using the RTI model

     

    80% of students will be able to increase their oral reading fluency (ORF) score as assessed using the Dibels Assessment tool by at least 30%.

    • By January 18, 2019, 80% of students will grow at least 20% on ORF.
    • By June 1, 2019, 80% of students will grow at least 10% on ORF.

    MATH SMART Goals

    80% of students will be able to add within a 1000 by June 1, 2019

      • For students not successful on the assessment the NWEA Skills Checklist with manipulatives to further evaluate for intervention grouping purposes.
    • Use team generated CFA predetermined time every 4-6 weeks with a PLC Data meeting to follow to adjust instruction using the RTI model

     

    80% of students will be able to subtract within 1000 by June 1, 2019
