• 2018-2019 Pre Kindergarten SMART Goals: 

    PALS: Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening

    PPVT: Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test

    *85% of Pre-K students transitioning to school age will achieve proficiency on the upper case (large) letter recognition subtest of the PALS  

    *On the remaining PALS assessments 80% of Pre-K students transitioning to school age will achieve proficiency on each subtest.   These subtest include: lower case letters recognition, letter sounds, beginning sound awareness, print and word awareness, rhyme awareness, nursery rhyme awareness, and name writing.

    *85% of Pre-K students transitioning to school age will be within the average score range using the PPVT scoring scale.   This is a check of the amount of words a child knows.

    *85% of Pre-K students transitioning to school age will rote count and use one to one correspondence to 25. 

    *90% of Pre-K students transitioning to school age will identify 8 colors and 6 out of 8 shapes.

    *85% of Pre-K students transitioning to school age will correctly identify numerals 0-12.
