Mrs. Danielle Ellis
Hi everyone! I'm Mrs. Ellis! I am a special education teacher at Washington Middle School. I have been teaching in the Jamestown District for 4 years. I am originally from Buffalo, NY. I graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 2007. I attended Niagara University and Buffalo State for my undergraduate and received my Bachelor's in History in May of 2012. I then went to D'Youville College and received my Masters in Special Education with a dual certification in Social Studies education in December of 2013. I also am the assistant varsity track coach at Jamestown High School.
I am happily married to my husband Kevin and I have two step sons, Kevin and Jamison. I am also very close to my parents and my siblings. I have an older brother who is also a special education teacher in Buffalo and a younger sister who does public relations for a software company in Buffalo. My sister in law is a CSE case manager in Buffalo, NY as well. I also have an amazing niece, named Olivia who I love dearly! I love being an aunt!
The one thing I am known for most is that I am a DISNEY FREAK! I love everything to do with Disney! My students get embarrassed when I wear all of my Disney clothes and when I sing and dance to Disney songs! I also love sports, especially football and basketball. My favorite sports teams are Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Duke Blue Devils, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Syracuse Orange, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, and the Boston Red Sox.
I love everyone at Washington Middle School! I have many coworkers who are dear friends! I have never been happier with my career and chosing to be here in Jamestown!
