Library classes are taught by Mrs. Jennie Vaughn.  Mrs. Lisa Lowe is the library paraprofessional.  Students attend library class for 1 hour every week for half the school year. We have library during Quarter 1 and Quarter 3. Our main goal is to inspire and cultivate a love of literature. We teach appropriate book care, showcase varied genres, practice effectively utilizing a library, and introduce a variety of reference tools to strengthen our research strategies. Computers are a part of our library media center program; used to enhance what we are studying and help develop our critical analysis skills. Basic keyboarding skills are also taught. We aim to develop passionate readers and independent library users.
