A Message from Mrs. Russo

  •         Hello and welcome to Abraham Lincoln School. As the Building Principal, it is my distinct privilege and honor to invite you to become an active member of our school community. Lincoln School is situated on the westside of Jamestown and boasts a building full of history and unique architecture. Even though Lincoln was originally designed to be a junior high school, it has become a fine school for our littlest learners. Lincoln School houses grades UPK through 4th with an approximate enrollment of 400 students. Our faculty and staff is extremely dedicated and skilled in ensuring our students grow emotionally and academically. This is an especially exciting year for our school in that we are celebrating a century of learning. Lincoln School was built in 1923 and continues to be the place for all students to learn and grow one hundred years later.

We have an active PTA and I would like to encourage all to join and be a part of this long-standing organization. We look for ways to connect with our families. Through means such as our district website, electronic communications such as Talking Points, newsletters and calendars from our main office, and our Facebook feed, we strive for ways to keep our families informed of all the excitement and learning that is happening in our school.

We are excited to kick-off the 23-24 school year with a focus on the ABCs- Attendance, Behavior and Core Academics, while providing social-emotional support during learning. But in order for that to happen, we need YOU. Now more than ever, strong communication and a solid partnership between home and school is vital for student success. Let's work together to ensure our students grow and succeed academically and socially.

Please feel free to reach out to me with your questions and concerns. I am here to help.
