Welcome to C.C. Ring Elementary School!
-
Literacy, the ability to read and write proficiently, is essential in order for our children to be college and career ready. In the Jamestown Public Schools, reading and English Language Arts instruction is the foundation for building knowledge in elementary classrooms. Jamestown follows the recommendations of the National Reading Panel that has identified effective practices to successfully teach children to read and the NYS Common Core Literacy Standards.
Located on the north end of the city of Jamestown, CC Ring is an enjoyable and exciting place to learn. Our faculty is committed to fostering a positive attitude along with a sense of mutual respect and concern for others. Our Roadrunner logo and school motto, “Leading in Learning...Catch Us If You Can,” express our overall pride.
Carlyle C. Ring Elementary serves students in Pre-kindergarten through 4th grade. Students participate in a wide variety of learning activities and experiences from “Foster Grandparents” to assemblies to field trips, PTA Fun Day and rigorous academics.
