Even though I lived in Jamestown, I began teaching in a private Christian school in 1990. An opening allowed me to begin teaching in 1997 at ALL of the Elementary Schools in Jamestown as the exclusive Kindergarten Art Teacher. After three years, a re-organization put me at Rogers for many wonderful years teaching K-4. I now reside at CC Ring & CV Bush schools.  

I have been involved with educating children for a great many years, beginning as a counselor for a day camp program for children in the Love School district, called Reach Out-based at Grace UMC. Horse (watson homestead) and Aquatics (Findley Lake)Camps were my next counseling positions leading to a Program Assistant position for three years at Camp Findley. "Learning on the Move" and Infinity were other teaching venues used, as well as, my very own front porch for Art Teaching experiences. 

Running a Feline Rescue called Whiskers and Wishes led to teaching "Sip & Paint" parties. I also sit on the board at New Leash on Life and have a very passionate heart for animal rescue.

Personal interests certainly include nature and all things "critter" related. My favorite media is currently Glass and Alcohol ink. I have enjoyed working with a variety of other media, including resin, wood carving, oils, watercolor, photography, stone grinding, clay, jewelry, and a great variety of crafting.
