WHY I TEACH
As a child growing up in Buffalo, NY, I knew I wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. Having many teachers that influenced me positively, this was my future and I knew it! Making a difference in students' lives is what teaching is all about. I teach 5th grade and this keeps me hopping. I love seeing the expression on a child's face when they finally get something that they have worked hard at! When you walk into my classroom, my outgoing personality shows. I have taught in Jamestown Schools for 20 plus years and have taught 20 of them right here at Washington. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and one as a Reading Specialist.

FAMILY
My family is very important to me and I spend the majority of my free time with them whether we are camping, hiking, playing games, or getting muddy on our four-wheelers out on our property. I am a very artsy person and this shows in all I do. From painting to sewing and any creative project you can think of, that's my passion other than teaching.
