  • As the building instructional coach my goal is to help both teachers and students be accountable for their learning. Cooperative learning is a teaching arrangement that refers to small heterogeneous groups of students working together to achieve a common goal. (Kagan, 1994) 

  • Campfire is an engagement strategy that allows students to share their ideas as they are learning.

     

    Brain research shows that talking while learning a new skill is very effective. Rally coach is a great Kagan structure that allows students to talk while they are practicing a new skill.
