I always knew I wanted to teach and the first time I came to Bush school I knew I wanted to teach here. I went to Fredonia State University and worked at the after school program at Bush all through my years at Fredonia. I graduated in 2006 with my teaching degree. That summer I got the job teaching 4th grade and have been here ever since. I have learned so much from each student I come in contact with. I believe Bush school has the best group of teachers and I feel blessed to be a part of this great staff.
My family is very important to me. If I am not at work then I can be found with them! My husband Rich is a great support to me and my teaching. I also have the joy of being a mother to my daughter, Everly. I am also CrAzY about Disney.
I also love to read. I feel it is so important for students to develop an interest in reading. That is why I encourage a lot of reading throughout the day. As students learn to read they will see books as “mini-trips”. Books can take you anywhere!
