Hello, everyone!  My name is Ms Karbacka and I am the general music and chorus teacher at Washington Middle School.  This is my fifth year teaching in the public school system and I am very excited to start the school year with all of you!  I received my masters degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a concentration in Music Education - Voice.  I received a bachelors degree in Music Performance - Voice and a post baccalaureate degree in Music Education from Mercyhurst University.  I grew up in Jamestown, NY and went to C. C. Ring Elementary School, Washington Middle School and Jamestown High School.  Throughout my time in the Jamestown Public Schools, I participated in the music program.  I am a singer (soprano), and I play violin and French horn.  I love performing, too!  I have been in many productions of musicals and operas throughout my high school and college career.
