JAMESTOWN, N.Y. –  The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education has approved the appointment of Allison Morganti to serve as long-term substitute principal of Jefferson Middle School.

Morganti succeeds Nicole Marino, who was recently appointed as the Innovation Center assistant principal and program administrator. Morganti currently serves as a teacher on special assignment supporting students and staff at Love Elementary School.

“Mrs. Morganti has been a tremendous asset to our district, both as a classroom teacher and in a student support role,” said Tina Sandstrom, assistant superintendent for instruction and school improvement. “We are excited to welcome her to Jefferson Middle School and confident that her experience, leadership and commitment to students will make a meaningful impact on the Jaguar community.”

Morganti returns to Jefferson Middle School after beginning her career there in 2012, spending six years as both a special education and fifth grade teacher. She then joined the staff at Washington Middle School, where she spent six years teaching fifth grade before joining Love in 2025.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to return to Jefferson Middle School, the school where I began my career in education, and give back to a community that played such an important role in my professional journey. I look forward to supporting our students, staff, and families while continuing to grow as a leader. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to begin this next chapter.”

She received her associate’s degree from SUNY Jamestown Community College, her bachelor’s and master’s degree from SUNY Fredonia, and is currently completing her administrative degree at SUNY Cortland. She also participated in the district’s first “Emerging Leaders” cohort during the 2025-26 school year. She and her husband Michael have three children and reside in the Jamestown community.
