The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education has approved the appointment of Nicole Marino to serve as the new Assistant Principal of the Innovation Center at R.R. Rogers School. Marino, currently the assistant principal of Jefferson Middle School, will begin her position this month.

Jamestown High School celebrated the achievements of the 301 members of the Class of 2026 during its 160th Commencement exercises on Thursday, June 25 at the Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater. 

Jamestown Public Schools honored a longtime employee and coach with its inaugural Pillar of the Year Award, recognizing Jamestown High School Home/School Coordinator Arrick Davis for his commitment to students, families, and the broader school community.

Eleven members of the Jamestown High School Class of 2026 will graduate this month with one of New York State's highest recognitions for language proficiency: the New York State Seal of Biliteracy.

Each year, Jamestown High School encourages seniors to wear apparel representing their next steps after graduation on the first Friday in May as part of National Decision Day. For many students, that means wearing a college t-shirt or sweatshirt. For Wyatt Olmstead, it meant showing up in coveralls.
