Celebrating the People Who Hold Us Up

At Jamestown Public Schools, our people are our greatest strength.

Every day, more than 1,100 employees work together to support students, families, and one another. From classrooms to cafeterias, offices to buses, and maintenance shops to music rooms, our staff members make a difference through their dedication, kindness, and commitment to children.

The Pillars of JPS program was created to celebrate those individuals.

Named for the iconic pillars featured in the district's logo and throughout many of our historic school buildings, the program recognizes employees who "hold others up" through their service, leadership, encouragement, and care. Through peer-to-peer nominations, staff members have the opportunity to recognize colleagues who make Jamestown Public Schools a better place to learn and work every day.
