School Board Election & Budget Vote Postponed

Annual School Budget Vote & Board of Education Elections to be Held on 6/9 by Absentee Ballot

In an executive order issued on Friday, May 1, New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced that this year’s school budget vote and board of education election will take place on June 9, 2020, exclusively by absentee ballot due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. The Public Hearing for the Proposed 2020-21 Budget will be on June 1, 2020 at 6 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held remotely with a link to participate on our website. A candidate for election to the Board of Education must complete a nominating petition to confirm that he or she meets all applicable eligibility requirements. If you are interested in running for the Board of Education, please contact JPS District Clerk Jaunita Walter at 716-483-4420 or jaunita.m.walter@jpsny.org to request a petition.
